Electrical
The electrical team builds the electrical board. The board uses the programmer's code make the robot move. The board was built early on in the build season, and it worked great! The electrical team members are also the creators of Happy Plank.
Mechanical
The mechanical team builds the entire robot's frame. They also built the fork lift and scissors lift. The mechanical team did a great job this year; the forklift and scissors lift works flawlessly!
Programming
The programming team's code makes the robot function. The programming team had to code the robot to work in 2 gears, make the scissors lift extend, make the forklift go up and down, and last, but not least, make the robot drive.
Pneumatics
The pneumatics team builds the system that makes the gears change and the scissors lift go up on the robot. The pneumatics team did a great job this year; they got the ball to go over the overpass and ontop of the overpass perfectly!
Web Team
The web team built and wrote the content for this website. We went through 2 designs before we came to this one. The web team was using the wireless internet at UCF during the competition to update the website. The web team worked hard this year to provide the team with a website.
Mentors
The mentors make everything we do possible. The provide lunch and breakfast for us on long days. They also make sure we are safe and having fun. Without them, we wouldn't be a team. Without being a team we couldn't make new friends, built an awesome robot, and have fun! We would like to thank all of our mentors for giving us this opportunity!
